Dacă ar fi...

Când vrei să vorbești despre situații posibile în viitor și consecințele lor, folosești First Conditional. E pentru lucruri care pot să se întâmple cu adevărat!

Structura First Conditional

IF + PRESENT SIMPLE, WILL + VERB

Exemplu:

"If it rains, I will stay home."

Dacă plouă (posibil!), voi sta acasă (consecință).

IF clause (condiția) = Present Simple

Main clause (rezultatul) = Will + infinitiv

⚠️ ATENȚIE la ordinea cuvintelor!

✅ "If it rains, I will stay home." (cu virgulă)

✅ "I will stay home if it rains." (fără virgulă)

Când IF e la început, pui virgulă. Când e la mijloc, nu!

Când folosești First Conditional

First Conditional = situații REALE și POSIBILE în viitor:

  • Planuri: "If I have time, I'll call you."
  • Promisiuni: "If you help me, I'll help you."
  • Avertismente: "If you don't study, you'll fail."
  • Predicții: "If it's sunny, we'll go to the beach."

Variante ale First Conditional

IF + DON'T/DOESN'T

"If you don't hurry, you'll be late."

Dacă nu te grăbești, vei întârzia.

WON'T în rezultat

"If it rains, we won't go."

Dacă plouă, nu vom merge.

UNLESS = dacă nu, cu excepția cazului în care

✅ "I'll go unless it rains." = I'll go if it doesn't rain.

Voi merge dacă nu plouă.

✅ "Unless you study, you'll fail." = If you don't study, you'll fail.

Dacă nu înveți, vei pica.

💡 UNLESS = IF NOT, dar sună mai natural în multe situații!

Time Clauses (When, As soon as, Before, After)

Cu when, as soon as, before, after, until folosești aceeași structură ca la IF:

  • "When I get home, I'll call you." (Când ajung acasă, te sun.)
  • "As soon as she arrives, we'll start." (Imediat ce ajunge, începem.)
  • "Before you leave, turn off the lights." (Înainte să pleci, stinge luminile.)
  • "After we finish, we can relax." (După ce terminăm, ne putem relaxa.)
  • "I'll wait until you come." (Voi aștepta până vii.)

💡 Folosești Present Simple după aceste cuvinte, chiar dacă vorbești despre viitor!

❌ Greșeală foarte comună!

❌ "If it will rain, I will stay home."

✅ "If it rains, I will stay home."

Nu folosești WILL după IF în First Conditional!

Reține:

First Conditional = IF + Present Simple, WILL + verb. Pentru situații REALE și POSIBILE în viitor. Nu pui WILL după IF!
